In planning my own wedding in 2021, I felt extreeeemely overwhelmed with all the decisions that had to be made. From what venue would fit our guest list to who to book for makeup to whether those customized napkins were really worth it… the to‑do list was never ending. At the end of that rollercoaster of a process, I felt like I could write a book about what REALLY worked.
Fast forward to this 2024, I received a DM asking for NYC hair and makeup artist recs.
That's when it hit…
My friends, cousins and IG community also have novels worth of wedding insights. Why isn’t there a space where it’s all organized for our South Asian community? So I asked my followers for their endorsements, researched vendors vetted by ACTUAL brides and got on countless calls with past brides to capture their stories.
